The F-86 Sabre was the first operational swept-back wing to fly for the United States Air Force. This is a model of the aircraft which (for six years straight) held the world's speed record...crusing up to 679.981 mph. This is the aircraft that consistently scored victories over the Russian built MiG fighters. All 39 United Nations jet aces won their laurels in Sabres. Special features are 35-degree swept wings and tail and an underslung engine air-inlet duct, fairing into the fuselage. This fast bird also flies reliably slow with a broad wing and large tail section.

  • The Lanier RC F-86 Sabre fuselage and vertical stabilizers are beautifully painted fiberglass.
  • Everything is include except engine and radio equipment
  • The light plywood formers are already glued in place.
  • The wing is built up balsa with strengthening wood spar
